Born in Tokyo. Inspired by new cultures encountered through travel. Built in New York City.

Growing up, I played soccer. Fashion was not part of my daily life. But the rare moments I got to wear what I truly loved — those moments felt different. Special. More alive. That feeling became the foundation of PALATI 1997.

The opulence of the Baroque era — dramatic silhouettes, rich fabrics, bold construction. Woven together with Japanese materials, detail, and aesthetic sensibility. Not a concept. Simply what emerges from one person's journey.

PALATI 1997 has shown at New York Fashion Week for 5 seasons. Our pieces have been worn by artists and celebrities on stages and in the spotlight.

東京で生まれ、旅をして新しいカルチャーに触れる。ニューヨークで服を製作。

子どもの頃はサッカーをしていた。毎日ユニフォームを着て、私服を着る機会はほとんどなかった。だからこそ、自分の好きな服を着る瞬間は特別だった。普通の日が、少し違う日に変わる感覚。その確信がPALATI 1997の原点だ。
